Lino is a self-taught draftsman
and ceramic artist. Because
of his deep involvement in the
Afro-Cuban religion, Santeria,
his work is influenced by
and dedicated to the ancient
but omnipresent gods, the
Orishas. He lives in a district
of Havana called Guanabacoa,
where the followers of the
religion concentrate.
