First a graduate of the famous
Instituto Superior del Arte ISA,
she then studied and worked
at the equally prestigious
Taller Experimental de la
Grafica In Havana.
In her art, Isolina
demonstrates a strong
influence by the imagery of the Afro-Cuban religion, Santeria.
Equally interesting to see is a
distinctly feminine touch,
showing itself throughout her
work, manifested in rich, almost irredescent colors.
